End of the Era

today I recieved an email from Jacob. It informed me that he has an interview Monday for a job that he’s been hoping to get for a few years now… it’s actually his second interview and he’s 99% sure that he’s going to get the job! Upon getting said job he has decided that his journey in ONE STAR NITE will be over. between the new gig and his company he will simply be too busy.
he added that he was really torn and this was a big decision for him and that he didn’t want to jump the gun on anything.
With that said… I think it’s finally time to hang up the OSN flag. I have a couple projects I’m currently working on so maybe right now is the best time for me. either was OSN was and will always be a very important time and piece of my life. I grew alot through this band. both mentally and physically as both a man and an artist. I have experienced many events and oppritunitys that kids and people can only dream of. It has taught me to be proud of where I came from and be optimistic of where I will be going.
as sad as it will be to finally say goodbye I am excited for the next chapter in my book. For now I will focus on my solo acoustic bad ass-ness and my sessions with Lifted. I will continue to build my website to market my new music. and maybe one day I might start a fresh new band with a fresh new idea and some fresh new tunes. as of now, I’ll just take my time. finish what I’ve already started and just he greatful that my last band did as good as we did for as long as we were able to do it.
it will deffinitley be a part of my life that will be missed and never forgotten. August13th at the clubhouse will most likley be the final show that bids farewell to an era of my music. and I would like to thank Jacob for being such an important part of that. I wish him the best. I love him. I would also like to thank my brothers Josh and Chad. my friends Steve and Randy. and even Garret. it was a long bumpy road and unfortunaley the journey is almost over. However the end of one adventure just sets us up for the next one! and I can’t wait to experience what’s in store!!!
